I had my original blog since high school in those days we used to just call it an “online journal” my how times have changed. I always loved and enjoyed writing, sharing helpful information and allowing my friends and family to see what I’ve been up to. Unfortunately a lot of events happened in my life especially with my health and I haven’t been able to write as much. Lately I have really been missing it especially since a lot of my friends and family constantly ask me about it. Even though it makes me really sad I decided to permanently retire my old website after having it for almost 16 years! I decided that it was time for a fresh start. Out with the old, in with the new!
A lot has changed since my old blogging days. I dated an amazing person who happens to be a professional hockey player and is now my husband! Yes, you read that right I am married! Even though we are still newly weds, my heart was always married to him from the start. Married life is fantastic! Since meeting my husband we have lived and experienced some fun and crazy adventures together. I had no idea about this hockey lifestyle until meeting him. I am so thankful and extremely blessed. His job has allowed us to travel and explore the world. We have lived in many places from the States across the pond to Europe. Countries like Germany, Sweden, Austria and Norway. For that reason I thought the name “The Diary Of A Hockey Wife” would be perfect!
My friends and family are constantly asking me everyday how life in Europe is and sometimes I am unable to respond right away if I am busy or because of the time change. Now, with one easy click, this blog is a perfect way for me to document my experiences traveling and living abroad. I can easily keep everyone updated with Joshua’s hockey. I love Sharing useful tips/information, recipes and much more! (Just ask my friends and family, they constantly get flooded with information EVERYDAY haha!) I find writing to be really therapeutic it always has been an outlet for me and it’s a way to keep myself busy on the days I feel bored or lonely when Josh is on road games.
