I am addicted to these crispy breaded cauliflower. They are perfect as an appetizer or as a side dish! These are a great vegan option when your craving anything from nuggets to chicken wings. They are so versatile you can toss them in a vegan wing sauce, dip them in ketchup or any dip flavour of your choice!
1 head of cauliflower, cut into florets
1 1/2 cups flour
2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 teaspoons black pepper
1 teaspoons paprika
1 tablespoon salt
1 cup almond milk
coconut oil for frying
Put enough coconut oil to fry with
Put the flour, garlic powder, black pepper, paprika, and salt in a large bowl and mix.
In another bowl, pour the almond milk. Working a few a time, dip the cauliflower in the milk and then coat well with the flour mixture.
Put florets in the frying pan with coconut oil.
Cook until each side is golden brown.
Cool on a paper towel and serve with dipping sauces of your choice.
Another option is instead of frying it in coconut oil you can use about 6 tablespoons of coconut oil and put it in a pan and bake them until they are crispy also.
